We recommend getting your gates serviced bi-annually as a form of preventative maintenance. Some basic steps our technicians take to keep a gate functioning properly include lubricating hinges, changing hydraulic fluid, and testing electronic components and safety devices for proper operation.
On top of regular servicing, most automatic gate systems will require occasional maintenance calls during the year in response to lightning, weather, and normal wear and tear. We offer individualized service agreements with maintenance plans for residential, commercial, and industrial applications, from light duty to heavy security. An agreement places you at the top of our priority list for any emergency service.
Some signs to look out for include any visible damage, new or unusual sounds while the gate is in operation, or a gate that’s moving slower than normal or not at all. If you have any questions about your gate’s functionality, please don’t hesitate to contact us any time at 914-244-0018.
